Disclaimer
Use metadata cleaning with an understanding of your image rights and the rules where you share.

What the tool changes
AI Label Remover processes local image files. It removes supported embedded metadata and saves a separate copy. It does not change existing social media posts, remove visible or invisible pixel watermarks, authenticate provenance signatures, or certify that an image was made without AI. A platform may still label a cleaned image.
Copyright, attribution, and image rights
Only process images and metadata that you have the right to modify. Metadata may include authorship, licensing, and copyright-management information. Removing it may affect legal or contractual obligations; owning a copy of an image does not necessarily grant permission to remove those records.
For example, 17 USC § 1202 addresses unauthorized removal or alteration of copyright-management information under specified knowledge and infringement-related conditions. The rules depend on jurisdiction and circumstances.
Platform rules and AI disclosures
Cleaning a file does not replace a required AI disclosure or exempt you from a platform’s policies. Do not use a cleaned file to make misleading claims about authorship or provenance. For a disputed label on published content, use the platform’s official appeal or support process where available.
Keep originals and review your exports
Keep a master copy with its original metadata. Review the downloaded image before use. Some inputs require conversion, which can affect file size, color, and HDR appearance. The viewer reports supported metadata fields; it is not an exhaustive forensic analysis.
